mObywatel

If you use the application mObywatel, you can quickly and conveniently confirm your identity online. All you have to do is scan the QR code and the data from your identity card will automatically be transmitted to the company with which you are applying or registering, for example.

mObywatel is a free app from the Ministry of Digitalisation that allows you to use digital documents. It allows you to confirm your identity without having to enter your data manually - a single scan of the QR code is enough.

What is the verification process like?

1. A QR code appears on the company's websitewhich you can scan in the app mObywatel on your phone (if you are using the mobile version, you may see a code to copy and paste into the app).
2. Masz 60 sekundto scan the code - it expires after this time, but you can refresh it.
3. After scanning the code, you will see the name of the company to which you want to donate data in the app. If you agree, you confirm the sharing of your data with a single click.
4. The data will be sent automatically and securely to the company. A comparison with the data you have previously provided (e.g. in a form) can also be made.

What data are transferred?

Depending on the needs of the company commissioning the verification, they may be transferred:
