Account Information Service (AIS)

What you will find on this page:

How does the AIS service work?

What data is checked?

Why was it not possible to confirm my data?

How do I abort the AIS and delete my data?

AIS is a way to quickly confirm your identity and check your creditworthiness based on your bank account details. Everything is done quickly, securely and only with your consent (fully compliant with the EU PSD2 directive governing open banking).

Verification is carried out by companies approved by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF), including Autopay S.A.. We guarantee the full security of the data - it is only made available to the verified person and the company that ordered the verification.

How does the AIS service work?

  1. You are applying for a service that requires confirmation of your details.
  2. You agree to data verification - on the Autopay or partner website.
  3. You log into your online banking. If you do not see your bank on the list, contact the company that orders the verification.
  4. The bank transfers the necessary data to Autopay.
  5. Once the process is complete, you return to the website of the company you wish to use.

The whole thing takes a maximum of a few minutes and takes place entirely online.

The service is completely secure:

  • Only KNF-approved firms can perform such verification.
  • Your data is only sent to you and the company that needs it.
  • Autopay does not save or store your bank login or password, so no one but you can access them.

What data is checked?

It is the company that asks for verification that decides what data it wants to check. It should inform you of this on its website.

These are usually:

  • Your basic data (name, address)
  • Transaction history (receipts and expenditure for the last 12 months)

Once the process is complete, you will receive an email with a link to the report in PDF format. We will send you the password for the file by SMS.

Why was it not possible to confirm my data?

This may be due to several reasons:

  • There is no transaction history in your account, making it impossible to confirm your details.
  • You have a poor internet connection.
  • You have not confirmed your identity with your bank.
  • The company that asked for your data found it insufficient.

If you do not know what went wrong, contact the company that commissioned the verification.

How do I abort the AIS and delete my data?

  • If you haven't logged into the bank yet - simply close the page.
  • If you have already confirmed your consent with the bank - the data will be uploaded and the process will be completed automatically.

Autopay does not store your data - are deleted within 24 hours after verification. If you would like the company for whom the verification was for to also delete your data - please contact them.
