Verification transfer

What you will find on this page:

What is a verification transfer?

What does the process look like?

Which banks can I use?

Where to report a problem with a verification transfer?

If you are asked to make a transfer, it means that the company you want to use needs to check your information. This is a fast and secure way of confirming your personal details and is done completely online - no need to send documents or visit a branch.

What is a verification transfer?

A verification transfer is a symbolic transaction (e.g. £1) that you make from your bank account. This gives the company the assurance that:

  • the details you have provided match the details of the bank account holder,
  • the account actually belongs to you,
  • You have provided the correct account number (BBAN).

This form of verification is used, for example, when applying for credit, deferred payment, registering for financial services or entering into online contracts.

What does the process look like?

  1. Składasz wniosek for a particular service or product on the company's website.
  2. Zostajesz przekierowany na bramkę płatniczą Autopaywhere you choose your bank.
  3. Logujesz się do bankowości internetowej and you approve the automatically prepared transfer.
  4. Po wykonaniu przelewu, your data is passed on to the company that commissioned the service.

💡 Important

  • Do not change the transfer detailsthat you will see on the screen - these are automatically generated and must remain unchanged for the verification to be successful.
  • Make the transfer as soon as possible after it is generated - Each transaction has a specific expiry time. If the money arrives after the deadline, the service will be discontinued.

Which banks can I use?

The list of supported banks may change, but the following banks are currently available for verification transfer:

  • Alior Bank
  • Bank Millennium
  • Bank Pekao S.A.
  • Postal Bank
  • BNP Paribas
  • BOŚ Bank
  • Credit Agricole
  • ING Bank Śląski
  • Inteligo
  • mBank
  • PKO BP
  • Santander Bank Polska
  • VeloBank

If you do not see your bank in the list, it could be a temporary problem - for example, maintenance work. Try again in a while. If it still doesn't work, contact the company that asked for verification.

Where to report a problem with a verification transfer?

If you have a problem with the transfer or are unsure if it has been processed correctly, it is best to contact the company directly that asked you for verification. Autopay only provides the transfer technology and consultants do not have access to information about the status of the request or the company's decision.
